I found this translation very accessible and easy to read. There's a reason this gory romp has been translated for thousands of years. There are parts that feel like some sort of comic book or anime. I'm going to be reductive here, but it's a bunch of ripped guys killing each other and then delivering epic speeches. I find Hector a far more admirable and honorable than Achilles. Through it all we know that one thing remains true over the millenia: War never changes.
